Hello everybody!
I have been learning how to make video for The
Daily Times website. This video that i just finished is of a beginning
rock climbing class being taught by John Nowell, of Knox Rocks Climbing
Services on the cliffs of Eagle Rock Camp on the Foothills Parkway in
Blount County, Tennessee.
This assignment was a challenge, I was
going back and fourth shooting video and taking still photographs while
hanging off the side of a rock face. I have been a rock climber for 14
years, so I was already use to the height, I needed to practice more
on climbing and shooting video and taking photographs at the same time,
lucky i did not drop anything or myself. It was definitely a learning
experience and hopefully i will be able to do more of it.
I love rock climbing!

View/Edit MY FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPH
Hello everyone! This is my first blog for the Blount County Voice. I decided to keep it simple and display one of my favorite photographs that i took on August 18, 2007 and was published in The Daily Times on August 19, 2007.
The photograph was shot at 400 ISO, the shutter speed at 500 and the aperture at f/16.
Silhouettes of racers at Maryville College running for the Foothill Striders 31st Scholars Run, proceeds from its annual "Scholars Run" to fund two $1,250 scholarships in Blount County each year.
